About the Role

As a Navy Medical Assistant (Hospital Corpsman), you will work alongside doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals. You’ll provide care to Navy personnel and their families in hospitals, clinics, and field environments.

  • Help administer vaccines, medications, and IV fluids.
  • Conduct physical exams and assist with dental and surgical operations.
  • Support patient recovery and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Work in hospital, clinical, and field settings — at sea or on land.
  • Ensure proper sanitation, safety, and hygiene in medical environments.
  • Learn advanced skills in radiology, physical therapy, surgery, and lab work.

You’ll also have the opportunity to specialize in areas like dental care, laboratory testing, operating room assistance, or preventive medicine after completing your training.
