Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver training in maintenance of Royal Navy External Communication Systems.
  • Support the Royal Navy Weapon Engineering (WE) Capability Training Unit.
  • Use data and performance feedback to improve training outcomes.
  • Identify and share best practices across training sites.
  • Maintain consistency and quality across all training programs.
  • Meet performance standards and ensure effective delivery of training objectives.
  • Represent the needs of Royal Navy trainees and coordinate with technical teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential:

  • Hands-on experience working with or maintaining modern Royal Navy External Communications Systems.
  • Ability to deliver structured technical training in a classroom or workshop setting.
  • Strong understanding of communication protocols and maintenance standards.
  • Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC Level).

Desirable:

  • Experience with cryptographic system maintenance.
  • Level 4 Teaching Certificate or willingness to complete internal instructor training.
  • Background in Royal Navy Weapon Engineering or similar defense communication systems.
  • Experience maintaining RF and External Communications equipment in military settings.
