About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our team in Karachi. This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization by producing accurate reports, managing budget controls, ensuring compliance, and guiding strategic financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, track, and report budget variances to support informed financial decision-making
• Prepare detailed and accurate financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow reports
• Review all financial data for accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations
• Deliver in-depth financial analysis and regular reporting for senior management
• Develop and oversee the annual budgeting process and financial forecasting
• Recommend and implement improvements to enhance financial procedures and controls
• Ensure regulatory compliance with government laws and financial reporting standards
• Lead and supervise month-end and year-end closing processes, as well as general ledger activities

Candidate Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a senior/leadership capacity
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred
• Solid understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
• Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems)
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
